A Zoning Permit needs to be issued for a new home, twinplex/duplex, storage shed deck, garages, room addition, fences, above and inground pools. All Zoning Permits must accompany a drawing with the dimensions of the property, the general location of the home, location of the new structure - distances indicated to the rear and side property lines. The dimensions of the structure must be clearly indicated!
Sign Permit
A Sign Permit needs to be issued for any new sign, or changes to an existing sign. The permit is for that location only (can't be moved to another location without another permit.) Two drawings of the sign are needed - one showing the positioning on the property and/or building; and one showing the front view of the sign with wording and dimensions.
No permit is required for the maintenance of a sign or for a change of copy on a painted, printed, or changeable copy sign.
